Concerned with the safety of his horses, a stable owner was looking for a unique solution that would allow his stable gates to open at the detection of smoke, allowing his horses to run to safety. This was a new challenge for us, but we did not hesitate to meet with our engineers to begin building this custom solution.
We had created a few different paths for the horses to be released based on where the fire would be. We included a UPS (uninterruptible power supply) which would release the doors even if the electricity was off. (This would give us enough time before the UPS ran out.)
Our team created a solution to release the gates in the stable and free the horses at the detection of smoke. Happy with our solutions, our customer has shown other stable owners our technology to implement as well. Our team will always strive to make our customer’s vision possible.
